TAMK
aims at starting a strategic partnership with international partner
universities. The plan is to choose two partner universities with which
cooperation and student, teacher and/or staff exchanges have worked well
for several years in more than one field. In the future, TAMK hopes to
deepen cooperation with these universities by including more fields and
especially the Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) units.
The
first potential strategic partner is Munich University of Applied
Sciences (MUAS) from Germany. Their delegation is currently at TAMK.
The
universities review past cooperation and discuss possible future plans
on 24 - 25 October 2012. The President, Vice-Preseidents and
representatives of TAMK Schools introduce TAMK to the German delegates.
Another
strategic partner TAMK wishes to have is the University of Salford from
the United Kingdom. They were to visit TAMK this week, too, but the
visit has been postponed due to scheduling challenges.
