Por la razón o la fuerza - Chile!

Erich Spencer, Director of International Relations, from the University of Chile visited TAMK this week. As a totally new partner country, Chile has raised a few eyebrows, but more interest than anything!

The visit was a result of a chance meeting in Kansas City, at the NAFSA2010 conference in June, where International Coordinator Camilla Kalevo and myself met Mr Spencer and his colleague at a stand of one of our Dutch partners - what are the odds! We welcomed Mr Spencer to visit and our wish came true sooner than expected.

The meeting in Tampere resulted in a preliminary agreement to start exchanges with the University of Chile and soon we will be able to offer our students some study opportunities in addition to the training experiences that our students have enjoyed in Chile so far.
