Tony Torp from TAMK recognised as Nokia Champion recognition



The largest mobile developer community in the world (over 4 million mobile application developers), Forum Nokia, has recognised Tony Torp as a Forum Nokia Champion.

Forum Nokia rewards individuals who have through their work and achievements enabled the mobile technology and community to thrive. Every six minths, the community selects especially distinguished expert developers for a year's honorary membership.

Torp works at TAMK as a senior lecturer in computer systems engineering and has actively worked to make TAMK one of the most well-known higher education institutions offering mobile application development in the world. In the Degree Programme of Computer Systems Engineering, the focus is on developing the field of mobile technology, applying the latest technologies and innovation. Torp has also participated actively in creating university networks of the field, several international projects and sharing his skills in several universities in the world. This input can be seen in the curriculums of several universities around the world.
